Aste-Aste in Bengali, it means Slowly-slowly

“Give a man a fish and you’ll feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you will feed him for a lifetime”.

It is with this objective in mind that, after living as a missionary in Bangladesh for 11 years and sharing my life with the poorest, I created an ONG together with Gilbert Mondol, a Bengali man whom I adopted when I first arrived in this country.

This new project is born under the tutelage of the ONLUS association Pang’onoPang’ono in Rosignano Solvay (Livorno).
